Understanding the Maps

Maps will display with symbols overlaid to indicate predators and offenders, and the locations of schools,

libraries, parks and/or other searc criteria.  Refer to the legend for an explanation of each symbol.

The registered locations (residences) of predators are indicated by a red circle and an orange circle for

offenders.

By clicking the "Show Aerials" box, photographic images of the area you're searching will be substituted for the

line drawings which display by default.  The photographic images my help you better visualize the area you've

searched.

Identifying the Offenders and Predators

Once the map has generated, you can click on any of the red or orange circles to access the name, address and photo

of the offender/predator registered at that location.  You can also see a list of all offenders/predators within the search

area by clicking on the "Names/Addresses" tab at the top of the map.  Information on the offenders/predators is from the

Florida Department of Law Enforcement website.
